Rachael discovered yoga in 2012, at a time when she needed balance and stability in her life. She has committed to a regular practice since that time, and has observed countless mental, physical, and interpersonal benefits of yoga. Rachael’s background is in psychology and mindfulness. She is currently training to be a psychologist at Queen’s University and researches the benefits of mindfulness for romantic couples. Rachael completed her level 1 Modo teacher training in 2016 and is also certified to teach Yin. Rachael’s classes focus on the mind-body connection; where yoga and psychology collide. She feels so grateful to be a part of the Modo Yoga Kingston community, as both a student and a teacher.
